Enjoy this beautiful selection of 8 stunning photos of Machu Picchu, the Holy Grail of Every Adventurers Visiting South America.
Machu Picchu is an ancient site of the Incas, standing 8,000 feet high above sea level in the tropical highland jungle of Peru. The city has always been surrounded by mysteries, hidden from the world, when it was finally discovered by Hiram Bingham professor in 1911. After its existence was made public, it wasn’t long before tourists came pouring from all over the world.
These days visiting the Lost City of the Incas is much easier than it was before. Now you just take a flight to Cusco and then a long, but rather scenic train ride to a station where you got two choices. You either get on a bus or hike the Inca Trail to finally see one of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever see.
All of Machu Picchu’s beauty is captured in this one image from the top of the site.
